Esposito and Mann Win to close out FARA Season

November 16, 2020

Pippa Mann and Kristina Esposito paired up in the TLM Racing / ROWE Motor Oil BMW Z4 to win the final FARA Endurance race of the 2020 season in their class, and take third place on the overall podium.

The event on the Homestead Miami road course kicked off with three sprint races, on Saturday, November 14th and the morning of Sunday, November 15th, before the final endurance event of the season on Sunday afternoon. Esposito finished on the podium for all three of the 3B class sprint races – two Saturday and one Sunday – with a second-place finish and two third-place finishes.

After winning the previous event in their class on Saturday October 3rd in a wet event that went from day to night, and finishing fourth overall, Mann and Esposito were hungry to back up their performance from their last outing, and try to go one better to make the overall podium in very different conditions.

Under hot, humid blue skies, Mann took the wheel of the TLM Racing / ROWE Motor Oil BMW Z4 for the first stint of the race, before handing over the car to Esposito in the lead. The duo never lost the lead for the remainder of the race, and slowly climbed up the overall classification as attrition helped their bid for an overall podium finish.

The pairing took the checkered flag with their second win in two races in the 3B class, and in third place overall. Esposito was also confirmed the FARA 2020 Season Endurance Champion in the 3B class.

“It’s great to finish out the 2020 FARA racing season with two back to back wins,” said Mann. “It’s been a lot of fun working with Kristina in these events, and I’m thrilled we were able to welcome ROWE Motor Oil on board for the last two events of the season, and take them to Victory Lane twice in their first two FARA events with TLM Racing and Shift Up Now.”

Esposito added, “This weekend concludes my 2020 racing season. It’s been an incredible, unexpected and challenging journey this year. I’d like to thank TLM Racing, Rowe Motor Oil and everyone who has supported me wherever I go. I’d also like to thank my coach, mentor and co-driver Pippa Mann.”

The 2021 FARA USA Season gets back under way on February 6-7, 2021.
