Shift Up Now is proud to announce a new partnership with automotive lifestyle brand Hagerty, which will provide associate sponsorships for Athletes Michele Abbate, Hannah Grisham and Emily Linscott in the 2021 racing season.
Diversity in racing series was an important element of the campaign. Abbate will carry the Hagerty logo on her Trans Am TA2 Grr Racing entry in the SVRA-sanctioned series on the West coast. Grisham will race for Hixon Motor Sports at Daytona and Road Atlanta in Mx5 Cup. Linscott is aiming to race a partial season in the United States F4 Championship powered by Honda, and will also be sanctioned by SVRA on the East coast in 2021.
The mission of Hagerty is to keep driving alive for car lovers and drive positive change in the world. The company is headquartered in Traverse City, Michigan, and is the world’s largest provider of specialty insurance for enthusiast vehicles. Hagerty keeps car culture alive through youth programs, the Historic Vehicle Association (HVA), the RPM Foundation and more.
“The team at Hagerty is absolutely thrilled to be partnering with Shift Up Now,” said Justin Moreno, VP of Digital Media & Marketing Strategy at Hagerty. “It’s been clear from the first engagement of these two organizations that our values and objectives are in alignment. Supporting Shift Up Now in the pursuit of furthering the potential of its Athletes is yet another way that Hagerty can deliver on our mission; to keep driving alive for car lovers and drive positive change in the world.”
All parties are hoping this collaboration is just the start of other deals coming together to support the Shift Up Now female racing collective and build brand awareness for its partners.
