The Shift Up Now Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to empowering talented female racers in motorsport, proudly announces the appointment of Jim Bork and Rebecca Bormann as Co-Chairs for the Advisory Board of Directors.
The Shift Up Now Foundation operates as a nonprofit entity that furthers its mission by securing tax-deductible contributions to support professional and aspiring female racers. Last year, the foundation's first fundraising campaign exceeded expectations by raising over $50,000 in grant funding, which allowed the organization to provide the first-ever sponsorship grants to seven talented female racers.
“As we enter our second year, we anticipate awarding even more grants and have several new initiatives planned to specifically engage the Indianapolis racing community to rally their support for women in motorsports,” commented Co-Chairs, Jim Bork and Rebecca Bormann.
Jim Bork, Founder and CEO of The Momentum Group, brings over 32 years of experience in advertising and marketing. His expertise in media, marketing, and award-winning creative work will be invaluable to Shift Up Now Foundation’s efforts in promoting diversity and inclusion in motorsport. Jim's passion for racing and motorsport, coupled with his strategic planning skills, make him an ideal fit for this leadership role.
Rebecca Bormann, Founder and CEO of RB Consulting, adds over two decades of distinguished experience in sales, marketing, business development, and leadership to the foundation. Rebecca is a fervent advocate for gender equality in the workplace and actively promotes equity and inclusion in business and STEM fields. Her extensive involvement in community initiatives, including Women & Hi Tech, Pass The Torch For Women, The Startup Ladies and The Boss Babe Network, highlights her commitment to making a tangible difference.

She has served on various boards and advisory roles for over 15 years, making significant strides in fundraising, sponsorship, partnership strategies, brand recognition, and leadership. Her contributions have greatly impacted organizations dedicated to advancing gender equity and inclusion.
Jim Bork's notable career includes roles such as VP of Marketing and Sales Promotion at Conseco and Director of Sales Promotion & Advertising at Jefferson National Life. His current focus at The Momentum Group involves maximizing client engagement through strategic planning and creative execution, ensuring brands achieve sustainability and growth.
